What happened in Oregon was that voters in 2018 hated everything you stand for so much that they gave supermajority control to the Democrats in both chambers.

In response to the complete marginalization of Conservative political power by the voters of Oregon, Conservatives aligned and hired brownshirts to act as their personal security and intimidation force, and those brownshirts showed up, armed, to the state capitol and made threats to the governor and law enforcement should they try to drag those losers back to do their jobs.

That's what is happening in Oregon: Conservative temper tantrums because the voters hate everything you stand for and believe.
