what ever Happened to the right of free assemblage?

the constitution guarantees this right of free assemblage. How come there are so many local laws that violate this civil right?

Because people dont know their rights.. Theyre not taught them in school, and unless they learn them on their own, they do not know their own rights.

If people dont know what their rights are, there is no way they can defend their rights.

They also don't seem to be teaching that someones rights stop, when it infringes on the rights of someone else.

With greater freedom, comes greater responsibility.
And they don't seem to be teaching responsibility, either.

How is that?

If you don't have borders, then you don't really have a sovereign nation, with a constitution that protects our rights. Especially since people like Wanderingbare, who advocate open borders, tend not to believe in private property, but instead worship the government...

That does not address the question. How is it that an open border policy (not no borders) eliminates property rights?

Freedom of assembly has never included right of trespass, just as freedom of speech does not include the right to vandalize (ie: graffiti).

The vast majority of local laws dealing with the issue are to assure the rights of others are not violated by those enjoying the right of assembly.

Because Liberals thought it was a way to cause disruption and to block people from going about their business; therefore laws had to be enacted to reel in the stupid Liberals. :cof1:

um, no. hell no.

local laws were enacted because communities of a majority bent didn't want to see or hear complaints by the minority political bent. Therefore, like all totalitarian entities, any and all laws possible are crafted to make 'legal' assemblage as difficult as possible, then make 'illegal' assemblage judicially painful.

hooray for powerful government. :321:

Thats not what property rights means. Property rights refer to weather or not you own land..

stop being a moron.

1) property rights apply to anything you OWN, be it land, vehicles, antiques, and even animals.

2)
I dont have any property. Not likely every going to eather. SO property rights are useless more than useless to me. Their a hindrance. Death to property rights!!
this is the problem with uneducated and apathetic individuals. The belief that since they don't have something and feel that they most likely never will have something, nobody else should have something.
what unadulterated communist bullshit. come and take them, dumbass.

3) If you want to actually TRY to have an intelligent debate about the constitution, rights, and liberty then read the document first. stop relying on your liberal talking points and commentators.

nor do they seem to be teaching people that some things are not called rights, but fears. huge difference.
