Pants on Fire! PolitiFact counted 37 times when he’d included no caveats, such as a high-profile speech to the American Medical Association in 2009: "If you like your health care plan, you'll be able to keep your health care plan, period. No one will take it away, no matter what."


Even Obama’s staunchest allies cried foul.

A Pew Research/USA Today poll conducted Dec. 3-8 found the percentage of people viewing Obama as "not trustworthy" has risen 15 points over the course of the year, from 30 percent to 45 percent.
 
why did he concoct this big "LIE" to "fool" 1% of the people ?

You're never going to change the mind of someone who believes in nothing except the imperative of his own absolute power. You simply have to defeat him.' as I have read similar posts in other places saying the same thing about other political parties : ) It's what everyone seems to say about the other side, whatever the other side may be

Welcome to the forum; yes Progressive Liberals avoid the truth, facts and reality because the historic record is littered with their ideological failures. They may label their political opponents similarly, but that's their lie.

The reason Liberal Progessivism is a failure is really quite simple; in order to believe in it, you have to ignore human behavior and economic reality. This is why the Constitution is such a brilliant document. Our founders recognized that in order to ensure a permanent liberty and economic prosperity, the State must be limited in their powers and ability to rule over the citizens.

They understood that the greatest threat to the Republic would not come from outside, but from within...the greatest threat was ignorance. Ignorance that would breed voters who realized that they could vote themselves others wealth through corrupt career politicians with a vested interest in power.

It's way past the time to implement term limits and abolish the current abomination called the tax code.
