What does this painting mean to you?

In Christie's defense She is a Catholic and Catholics believe, and teach, tradition can override scriptures. So they think the can change the Ten Commandments. Protestants don't think the Catholics can change the Word of God. Protestant believe in Sola Scriptura or scripture alone. What most Protestant don't know is the Catholics admit they change the 4th Commandment from the 7th day of the week to the 1st day of the week. A move that even the Catholics admit there is no scriptural authority for.
I don't think it matters if it happens on Saturday all that much. You need to remember "His" day of rest, and rest yourself. I do not believe that it matters which day you pick so long as you remember it and keep it "holy" while you do.

But that is not what the Bible says. It comes down to do you want to follow what God has asked you to do or do what Man tells you to do.

I suggest you read every verse that mentions the 7th day and every verse that mentions the first day then tell me which day God wants us to observe.

This is not true. Catholics do not believe that anything somehow overrides scripture.

They just don't believe that going to mass has to be on Saturday.

So they think the can change the Ten Commandments.
They most certainly do not.

Protestants don't think the Catholics can change the Word of God.
Correct. Nor do the Catholics.

Nope. Catholics separate the sabbath from the day they go to mass. The commandment is to keep holy the sabbath, not go to mass on the sabbath.

The Bible tells you to remember it and to keep it holy, it does not say to make sure it happened on the 7th day after creation only. I do not think the Jewish folk would know when that day was as Abraham wasn't around until WAAAAAAAAY after creation and the Sabbath command didn't come down until Moses, even later than Abraham. If we go by your own Bible, it was thousands of years before there was a command to take that day off, and by then it is very likely that the folks had not kept track of that specific date until then...

Just remember that day, keep it holy, on that day you choose to keep holy. You'll be fine. I don't know of any protestant church that does Saturday except the one created by the "Adventist" who thrice predicted the rapture and failed before they even created their church...

Nope there are MULTIPLE quotes where the Catholics admit they changed the solemnity of the Sabbath to Sunday a move that most Protestant churches took with them when the split from the Catholic Church.

Convert’s Catechism of Catholic Doctrine by Reverend Peter Giermann. “Question: Which is the Sabbath day? Answer: Saturday is the Sabbath day. Question: Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday? Answer: We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church in the Council of Laodicea transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday.”

Second, from Reverend Steven Keenan’s Doctrinal Catechism we read this: “Question: Have you any other way of proving that the Church has power to institute festivals of precept? Answer: Had she not such power, she could not have done that in which all modern religionists agree with her; she could not have substituted the observance of Sunday, the first day of the week, for the observance of Saturday, the seventh day; a change for which there is no Scriptural authority.

The attempt to force acceptance is, the flag makes a political point. One I agree with, generally, but it is certainly political.
I suspect that you don't agree with the hiring of less competent people on the basis that they are sexually confused or that their sexuality falls outside the norm.

The Catholic Church believe tradition is equally as important as scripture.

Tradition and scripture... "are equally authoritative and inseparable. Scripture is considered the "written Word of God," while Sacred Tradition is the "unwritten word" of God, which includes oral teachings, sacraments, and the interpretation of scripture passed down from the apostles"

Damo did Christ ever sin?

Damo did Christ ever sin?
I don't personally believe that Christ existed. But if we go by your religion he did not sin. If we go by the Jehovah's Witnesses, he was Michael, not the "son of God"...

However, that changes nothing about what I said. It's very likely that the Jews had no idea which day of the week was day 7 of creation... but remembering that day and keeping it holy was the command, not "do this only on this day"... Nobody corrected them to the correct day...

Seriously, this isn't hard to follow. It is extremely unlikely that people thousands of years later were even speaking the same language as those at the beginning, let alone kept track of a wildly random 7 days. It wasn't until Moses you got the command to follow that pattern...

So if Christ existed , which He did, and if He was sin free which He was then the day that He worshiped on was the 7th day Sabbath Jews spread all over the world worship on the same 7th day Sabbath.

But if there were only a more proof positive sign from God to show them which day the 7th day Sabbath is on!

BINGO! There is one. God reminded the children of Israel every week for 40 years which day the Sabbath was and that they should rest on it.

Again, he never said, "You've been doing it wrong" he just let them do it on the 7th day they picked.

You keep trying to "prove" something, but the words you are repeating do not change the reality of what I stated. It isn't the "weekaversary" that is important, it is remembering the 7th day. Every 7 days you are supposed to remember that day and keep it holy.

Tell me how many Christians you think are going to hell for remembering that day on Sunday... and I'll laugh at you quietly. At this point there is little that would change your mind, you think they are super accurate... I think Jesus didn't care if it was on the "same" day as the first day of rest, he only cared that they remembered it, and kept it holy.
