Yep, "witch hunt" is the tag-line y'all use every time trump does crimes. It's NOT a witch hunt to charge someone for taking our top secret docs to his crowded house with strangers strolling through all hours of the day.

If he declassified those things, how can they be stolen? Not to mention, when that stuff is declassified, it was determined that it could no longer do harm to the country. And let’s keep in mind that Trump did not pack those boxes, nor did he personally transport them to MAL.

The most burning question in your tiny mind should be, what catastrophic breakdown on the part of the nation’s most highly trained and professional security agencies, (HS, national archives, DOD, CIA, DIA, NSA, DOJ (including your beloved FBI) and any other secret squirrel alphabet agencies I’ve forgotten or never heard of) allowed the stupidest, most corrupt president in U.S. history, to remove TS/SCIF items from their secure facilities, AND completely bypass the chain of custody to languish in Florida for almost two years until another anonymous “whistle blower” tells them as exactly as possible what and where to look for it.

If this is the state of America’s federal security apparatus in 2022, I would not be surprised if president tater head is wiping his ass with our war plans and has classified all the toilet paper in D.C. as TS/SCIF.

Those documents did not belong to him, they belong to our government. HE took them. He kept them, when asked to return them. He kept them after they were subpoenaed.

The classification status is not relevant.

In your pea brain does something have to be classified to be stolen?
