The NRA makes tens of millions annually from Weapons Manufacturers. And this only started since 05. Now it's Corporate driven just like everything else in America.

If you took everyone with a brain out of that exhibition...it would make absolutely no difference.

Stupid choices of food is a disorder? When will the UK and US realise that MacDog, Kentucky Fried crap and all the others are part of 'Exit' and they are trading lives for cash. If you are stupid enough to be 50% over weight that is not a disorder. Funny how fat people also blame others for their own stupidity and defend the indefensible, in this case gun ownership.
There are eating disorders certainly, but not every fat bastard in the US or the UK has one.
Possibly more importantly is the cost of medical treatment these people foist on society. If you are obese by choice there should be no subsidised medical care and, of course, the same applies to smokers and druggies. You wanna kill yourselves, fine. There is no way you have the right to expect me or anyone else to look after you.

You are such a nice, understanding individual....you know little about addiction, don't you? People use substances to fill a void...whether that substance is alcohol, heroin, or food... the pathology is pretty much the same.

It's not a cop out....it's the truth. Now.... let's talk about those stupid food choices....do you think it's a coincidence that our poorest States and neighborhoods have some of the highest levels of obesity? That's because shitty, processed food is cheap..if you were poor and your rent was due...and you have oh...hell... a maintenance drug that your just about out of....and you have the choice if forgoing one of those things and eating healthy or not forgoing them and living on $1 McDoubles....what would you choose?

I accept what you say BUT we have shown that it is not always the case. Our Jamie Oliver tried and failed to get good food choices onto school menus in the states, but the arrogance of America sent him home with his tail between his legs. It was something like. 'We ain't takin' no advice from no limey.'
OK then those particular people were STUPID! No excuses. Yes I agree that supermarkets play to poverty with their 2 for 1 deals. A significant movement in the UK, led by one Hugh Fearnley-Wittingstall has changed, for example the way chicken is marketed (and, more importantly, reared.)
