WH Urges Americans to Be Patient ‘For a Few Days’ Before Declaring Midterm Winners



The White House on Monday cautioned that the winners of the midterm elections would not be immediately apparent, estimating that it would take several days to count all the ballots.

These warning are coming only from one side.

They never warned us about this in 70s 80s 90s

Back in the 50s, 60s, 70s, everyone voted on the same day. And you knew the results on the same day. The only people who mailed in their ballot were overseas military and diplomatic personnel.
 
In the close races the Revolution needs a few more days to get ballots delivered by mail. It is safe to assume that the R's will lose every single Senate race that is on the edge.

but we used to just count ballots.......now we need to create them........
 
I guess people only started watching elections recently. For decades, there have been various races that were too close to call on election eve or the next day, and sometimes took days or even weeks to sort out.
