Westboro Baptist Church punked at their own game by a 5 YO

That was my wife, but no abortion, child was not going to live outside the womb, God had already decided the fate of my daughter, and in rare cases like this, I have said I support the rights of the family to decide what to do, my daughter would have lived less than 30 min. there was also a slim chance a miscarriage could have killed my wife due to a certain heart condition.
My heart goes out to you and your family.

If the pregnancy terminated early and wasn't an abortion or miscarriage, what was it?

They termed it an abortion, which crushed my wife, my point is the child's fate was already decided by God, and nothing could be done to save the child. Maybe you should read up on what it is (anencephaly) My wife's life was in Danger, your point if you have one. What I will tell you is this never shook my Faith in the least

Pot meet kettle

That's "encepholopathy". That and acute hdyrocephalus are the most common conditions for which late term abortions are performed. A fetus with those conditions are not viable, or as you stated, God has already sealed their fate. The chief concern at that point would be the life and health of the mother as both of these conditions have extremely high mortality/morbidity rates for the mother if the pregnancy goes to term.

She shouldn't have been. It's just a technical term. What is important was that her life and health were in serious jeapordy and this procedure on a non-viable fetus had to be done to save her life/health. There is no shame in that. I hope she is doing well, all considering, and you and your family have my deepest sympathies for suffering such a tragedy. The important thing though is that your wife is alive and well. :)

While I am very sorry for your sorrows, I am glad your wife had the option to terminate the pregnancy at that point.

What generally those of us who are pro-choice want is options for all women.

Abortion should never have been a legal matter (beyond making sure the procedure is performed safely); it should have always been left up to the mother, the doctor, and the father if he is still involved in the relationship.

Everyone's story is different; many are heartbreaking. Yours is one of the heartbreaking ones. Sympathies.

it is a medical matter and nobody else's business. too many women worldwide die because of problems with childbirth. too many children die because their parents are unable to provide for them.

and too many women are damaged or killed by laws and religious edicts made by men.

I'm truly sorry. The point I've been trying to make is that some people who are against abortion change their tune when it affects them personally on the deepest level.

Your angst was no different than anyone else's considering the issue. Could it be that every child's fate, even those aborted, are the "will of God"?

no offense, But I would punch that 5 year old in the face too. Nothing is more infuriating than a 5 year old pretending they have any clue about anything. I resent them being propaganda tools for any purpose.

This is where we will differ for good or bad, I don't think so
