Well, well. Mike Flynn Moving To Withdraw Guilty Plea. Here's Why.

This is going to get interesting.
Only for those who have to scour sites like The Federalist for information. This isn't going to get interesting. Flynn is toast. If he is stupid enough to withdraw the plea for lying to the FBI, he'll be facing much more damaging charges. Don't forget...the plea was a gift from Mueller, in lieu of a trial on other charges.

From what is being reported in the real world, there was a (big surprise) Comey comment that perhaps Flynn didn't knowingly lie to the FBI.

That's it.

But do go on believing that this is going to get interesting.

Well, it’s not a given but I just warned an Enthusiast earlier today about it.

What can be said with some certainty is that someone took a shot across Mueller’s bow with Emmet Sullivan’s appointment to Flynn’s case. The interesting question is ‘The Who?’

It may be someone we voted for.

Andrew Weissmann is the poster child for prosecutorial misconduct and he’s Mueller’s ‘pit bull’. Thing of it is, the Sullivan appointment came AFTER they indicted Flynn.

There were probably some ‘oh, shit’s’ coming out of Mueller’s office over that one lol. They better have all their ‘i’s dotted and their ‘t’s crossed.

It’s still up in the air, but I think there’s a good chance Flynn is going to walk. The funny thing is the Impeachment Enthusiasts don’t even know enough to worry about it because the MSM isn’t reporting on it.
Wanna bet? The odor of desperation permeates every one of these threads.

Flynn's plea deal was a gift. He's toast if he tries to back out of this.

Flynn will not be trying to back out of his deal, you people are pitafull.
Funny...isn't it? The Federalist/Daily Wire....LMAO

No lawyer in the world would allow Flynn to back out of this gift of a plea deal. Lest we forget...he's protecting his son.

Let's see...what would Flynn have to look forward to if his lawyer were truly incompetent?

WASHINGTON—Special Counsel Robert Mueller is investigating former White House national security adviser Mike Flynn’s alleged role in a plan to forcibly remove a Muslim cleric living in the U.S. and deliver him to Turkey in return for millions of dollars, according to people familiar with the investigation.
Under the alleged proposal, Mr. Flynn and his son, Michael Flynn Jr., were to be paid as much as $15 million for delivering Fethullah Gulen to the Turkish government, according to people with knowledge of discussions Mr. Flynn had with Turkish representatives. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who has pressed the U.S. to extradite him, views the cleric as a political enemy.

What does it matter?

If he made a plea deal, it could only have been done to avoid going to trial on more serious charges.

Whatever those charges might be.

The point is, if Mueller had nothing more serious, the plea deal would never have happened.
It hasn't been that long...although this admin makes a month look like a decade with scandal after scandal.

Flynn is protecting his son. He's not withdrawing anything. But then again, when the OP is from The Federalist, you know that the thread will be amusing.

In all reality liberal news sources have not been accurate on anything in the last couple of years or so. As that is generally the source of information for liberals, their record of accurate predictions has been sorely lacking also. That whole follow the herd mentality.

tee hee hee......

told yall he was a fraud.
So what part of this doesn't apply to me?
Classical liberalism is a political ideology and a branch of liberalism which advocates civil liberties under the rule of law with an emphasis on economic freedom. Closely related to libertarianism and to economic liberalism,[1][2] it developed in the early 19th century, building on ideas from the previous century as a response to urbanization and to the Industrial Revolution in Europe and the United States.[3] Notable individuals whose ideas contributed to classical liberalism include John Locke,[4] Jean-Baptiste Say, Thomas Malthus and David Ricardo. It drew on the economics of Adam Smith and on a belief in natural law,[5] utilitarianism[6] and progress.[7]

Meaning of the term

The term "classical liberalism" was applied in retrospect to distinguish earlier 19th-century liberalism from the newer social liberalism.[8] The phrase "classical liberalism" is also sometimes used to refer to all forms of liberalism before the 20th century and some conservatives and libertarians (especially in the United States) use the term classical liberalism to describe their belief in the primacy of individual freedom and limited government.[9][10]

Sure. On both sides of the equation. However, citing a one off about trump winning an election doesn't negate the efficacy of MSM reporting. trump didn't even believe he was going to win. It's an anomaly, that will be corrected very shortly.

But...facts are facts, and Flynn is facing numerous charges that far outweigh the plea deal he was offered. Why else would the OP need to scour the toilet for the supposed 'story'? This is basically a continuation of the Nunes memo. The lead up was very exciting. The product? Not so much. This is more of the same.

Flynn is screwed. He knows it, and his lawyers know it.

Sullivan is known for making sure exculpatory evidence is shown to defendants.

So it could just be a pro forma thing -
but the fact Comey testified he didn't think the field agents believed Flynn lie can't be overlooked.

Also this is Mueller, who answers to no one. He's does whatever the hell he wants to do,

Judge Tosses Stevens Verdict, Blasts Prosecutors
http://abcnews.go.com/TheLaw/Politics/story?id=7277926&page=1
In a fatal blow to the corruption case against former Alaskan Sen. Ted Stevens, a federal judge granted a Justice Department request to throw out the guilty verdict against Stevens and ordered a criminal investigation into alleged misconduct by the prosecutors tasked with trying the case.

U.S. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan, who rebuked the prosecutors repeatedly during the trial last fall, said today that "For 25 years I've told defendants they'd receive a fair trial… I've never seen such mishandling or misconduct."

When will you stfu? A good question.

Us old timers all know what you're like. You just aren't happy unless you created dozens of threads about the exact same topic.
