Well, I thought it was a good speech

Liberals INTENTIONALLY spell Orangetweet's name the way they do out of sheer ridicule and disrespect. I've had numerous, at-length arguments with RW retards on the proper name of the party.

BTW, pal, he wasn't even smart enough to capitalize it.

Cons spent eight years doing the same with Obama's name, liberals did it with bush's name, cons did it with Clinton's name. It's just the same old same old.

I don't know why it's so hard to do it right: Democratic.

Wrong again shit-for-brains. But then, this is par for the course with your asinine eruptions.

The media's love fest with Dump needs to end ASAP!

When will the got damn media demand that Dump release his taxes, and demand a full investigation of his Russia connections? To paraphrase Edmund Burke, 'All that is necessary for evil to triumph, is for the Free Press to do nothing.'

Get off of Dumps little pink peter and do your jobs!

It's hard to take such laughable stupidity seriously.

Unlike most insults, the origin of saying Democrat Party was clearly ignorance. It's the sort of mispronunciation someone would make who also says "ain't" and "nucular."

Talk about ignorance....here's your buddy:

Obama Claims He's Visited 60 States

My understanding is it wasn't ignorance at all but rather the idea that saying democratic had a certain positive connotation to voters that democrat didn't. Thus the use of democrat. Throw in the fact that it upsets democrats and there you have it

It's not hard to do it right. It's done as a sign of disrespect and to piss democrats off.

I'm going with 80/20 in the general public. 20/80 on this site. In the general public I'm going to say that 80% or more don't know that it is supposed to be "democratic" instead of "democrat." I really didn't learn that until I started getting more involved in politics. Here, on the other hand, most know better but say "democrat" just to ruffle feathers of the other side. I used to do it on purpose myself just to irritate Desh...but that was back before just being alive irritated her.

This sort of thing goes back a very long way. Our political parties used to be called (unofficially) Tories and Whigs after Roman Catholic and extreme Protestant 'terrorists'. We still use the first.

Desh has had several good runs of close to ten posts in a row. 13 seems to be the leader in the clubhouse right now though.

They don't call Republicans "Republics."

Democratic = relating to democracy or its principles. Republican = relating to or characteristic of a republic.

Easy peasy.
Really? Democrats call themselves Democrats.

You hate me so much you had to make a totally dishonest argument. No wonder you thread ban me. You can't handle the truth.

I don't give a fuck whether you illiterates think the Democratic Party is democratic or not. It's the name of the party and the vast majority of you are too ignorant to know that.
