Yes, that's exactly what the article states. It does not state that one governor is worse or better than the other. It debunked the myth that NYS's governor IS worse.

Unfortunately, as you have seen, there are far too many who will NOT take the steps to keep themselves and others safe. They are the reason we have to have rules regulating public behaviors.

Exactly the opposite. Science now says the vaccinated should mask because they can spread the disease as easily as unvaccinated people.

You will, but other idiots won’t and there in lies the problem. It’s unfortunate, but sometimes government has to step in to protect people from themselves. If it weren’t for government intervention, we’d still have people smoking on airplanes.

False. When one Governor is bashing public health officials and the another isn't, the latter is doing a better job. Florida is a mess because the bars and restaurants are open, and local officials have no authority to mandate anything. And DeSantis refuses to mandate.

EVERY COUNTY in the state of Florida has over 200 new cases per 100,000 population. And all but three are over 300 new cases. Every county is a hot zone. That isn't 'some states doing better than others'. Florida accounts for 20% of new cases.

It’s like saying business will regulate themselves, oh, if it were only true! But, it isn’t. It’s unfortunate we need big brother. I wish all citizens were responsible, but they aren’t. It why we have prisons. It’s why we can’t have nice things ;)

Hardly. You are five times less likely to get it, but you CAN get it, and if you do, it can be very nasty. A vaccinated person in Florida who is not taking any mitigation measures is twice as likely to catch Covid than an unvaccinated person in many states. In some cases, it's three or four times more likely. So you are, again, completely wrong about what you just said. And even if true, vaccinated people don't want to infect unvaccinated people. Unless you don't care, in which case I'll just drop the mask.

There is a difference between laws for public heath and safety and forcing people to don protective equipment regardless of their compliance with previous recommended actions.
Would you support fines and possible imprisonment for anyone not wearing a mask and gloves and proof of been vaccinated? Sorry but I don't trust government not to overstep it's boundaries in the name of public safety.
