I hate to repeat myself but Jarod didn't answer my simple question....

This will be the president's first visit to Mar-a-Lago since assuming office.

Trump in the past referred to the resort as the "Winter White House." Before his inauguration, Trump visited the resort twice, once for Thanksgiving and again over the Christmas and New Year holidays

Your post suggested that the meeting was a business meeting taking place at Mar-A-Lago and that was wrong.

Did Obama ever take foreign leaders on a vacation after doing business with them? Seriously, I don't know.

According to the notice, the president will arrive in Mar-a-Lago on Friday and will leave on Feb. 6.



The president is also expected to go to the annual Red Cross Ball at Mar-a-Lago, which will take place Saturday night.

Was Jughead talking about a different trip to Mar-a-Lago ? Its only Feb. 9th today.....

I can't keep up with all Trumps vacations.....

He was here last weekend and will be here again tomorrow... trust me, I know when he is here.

I don't know about Obama either but I do know that a lot of business deals are made on the golf course....
I guess you don't imagine Abe and Trump will talk a little shop while together, maybe over dinner or something ?...maybe they'll just discuss Chop Suey, huh?

I only responded to Jarod because of the pettiness of his bullshit claims.....its obvious to everyone that entertaining foreign heads of state is as normal as apple pie no
matter when the meetings take place.....and business discussions will obviously be discussed....whether its Bush at his ranch, Trump in Florida, or Obama whenever he met with them....

Its just playing the hypocrite to even complain about such meetings....

Locals are bitching about the negative impact these visits are having on their businesses. Local hotels are sick of all the cancellations they keep having and restaurants and shops are upset about the lack Of tourists.
 
But just imagine how much these visits are costing the tax pair when there are plenty of places to golf in Washington DC.
 
The government already has security set up for heads of state that visit Washington DC, they stay at the presidents official guest house across the street from the White House. The price for the tax pair is incredibly less expensive

Well, thanks for clearing that up....the Red Cross Ball was one trip and the PM's meeting was a different one, is that it.....?

Either way, its more than vacations as Jarod was implying.....

According the White House, the Japanese Prime Minister’s staff will not stay at Mar-a-Lago, as that would involve possible ethical violations.

"The [government] is covering the costs of the delegation to stay off property, as is customary," a White House spokesperson says.
Presidents have hosted world leaders at their homes or private residences in previous administrations, but they stayed as guests of the president.

Have no idea where foreign leaders came from.
