The United States was responsible for the recent disruptions in Sino-U.S. relations.

Meeting with the Dalai Lama and arms sales to Taiwan violated China's sovereignty and territorial integrity. We voice hope that the U.S. would face the problems squarely and work to restore and improve relations with China on the basis of the three joint communiques, which are regarded as the foundation of Sino-U.S. relations.

China's interests have been more and more closely connected with the world, therefore, China begins to express its stance and opinions in a clearer way.

China welcomes foreign investors to do their business in line with the Chinese laws.

We also encourage them to bring more research and development centers into the country so as to improve the efficiency in the use of foreign capital.

It has always been the mission for China's diplomacy to defend China's sovereignty, security and development interests, while promoting world peace and development.

China will work together with other nations towards a fair and reasonable new political and economic order of the world. China is concentrating its efforts on economic and social development, which needs a peaceful and safe external environment.

i fail to see how the aggression of one nation towards another classifies as a 'domestic' issue. also, when a government which governs more than 1/6th of the world population imprisons and executes people for political dissent, and commits other human rights violations, the international community has a right to call attention to the facts. i await your reply most anxiously.

Sorry we cant do this. It violates our sense of right and wrong. We must speak up for human rights for everyone. It would be unethical for us to do otherwise.The People must be free.Besides it is China that has violated the soverenty aof Tibet and its rightful government.
