The gay vote may be as high as 30 % of the general population, thank you. What universe are you living in? Obama won, didn't he?
And you're insane. You think way too highly of your chances. 80% of blacks vote Democratic, no matter what. I'll concede 5 % more. That leaves you with 25 % of the black vote (on a good day) , to divide among the Repubs, the Libertarians, the Green, and various others. That is piss water.
Any hope for the Republican nominee is going to come from the middle, the independents, as it always has. Whoever can sway that segment of the population wins.

Because rape is a horrific crime. Forcing a woman to carry a fetus from a rape to term is unconscionable. Seriously - it makes me wonder if people are really human if they can support that.

I agree that it's a horrific crime, but murder is worse. So why would you kill a child for the crime of its father, then cause it's mother to commit a more heinous crime? Seriously - it makes me wonder if people are really human that they can support that.

Awesome, thanks. And you can nominate a dude that supports partial birth abortions and is against "born alive" legislation. Maybe the two will have a very public debate on these issues and we'll see who comes out ahead. :)
