There is just one principle more important than the attorney general’s high-minded approach to the sanctity of prosecutorial power. It’s called defending democracy.

If he doesn’t want to uphold the laws that protect the republic, he should step aside and let someone else do the job.

Even Jan 6 member Adam Schiff has expressed frustration at the lack of AG Garland to prosecute Trump. Maybe Garland should step down.

I don't know if trump tampered with a witness but witness tampering is legal anyway. All prosecutors do it when they make deals with indicted criminals in exchange for favorable testimony. "It's like this spike. You testify against your boss and i'll drop all charges against you." That's witness tampering of course and it's everywhere.
