Car sized **balloon*** brought down by a 350K missile from a jet that cost $216 million that cost $70K to fly. Yep that is costs effective.

The funny part about this is it just PROVED that the first balloon could have been safely shot down BEFORE it flew across our nuclear facilities .

This **balloon*** came from the Arctic ocean the first came from the Bering Sea. I suspect we just shot down a weather balloon or a scientific experiment balloon.
 
It was not a balloon according to the military. They shot it down because at 40,000 ft it was near commercial airline altitude.
