Apparently you are unaware of the treaty of 1999, Pretender. Currently Panama is in violation of that treaty, which means the Canal reverts back to U.S. control.

Obviously you can't. Your premise doesn't even make any sense. The canal was completed in 1907, therefore, the supposed hundred year lease would have run out in 2007. Yet Jimmy Carter signed the canal over to Panama in 1977.
