I posted screenshots with a link, to an in-depth study by The Cato Institute, known for it's libertarian to conservative positions, which flatly debunked the absurd claim that Biden is solely responsible.

That's a good part of why it happened. Whoever was actually running things during his administration--other than the autopen--was unaccountable. They could pin the blame on Joke himself while doing all sorts of stuff no politician would do directly. So, the borders got effectively opened, the administration made meaningless gestures about fixing the problem, and put a retard--Harris--as de facto person in charge as the figurehead to take the blame and she didn't even see that coming.
