We can't afford NOT TO do single payer health care

so what shit brain - we have an opioid problem, and we allow people to do stupid shit because we allow more freedoms than most nations

but what this dipwad said was a lie

Sorry again dipshit, our healthcare system sucks and life expectancies were going down here before covid because of it.

In comparisons of public health systems around the globe, the United States ranks at the bottom, lagging behind peers that offer universal health coverage, ensure equitable access to medical services, reduce administrative inefficiencies, and invest in welfare programs. More limited access to health care and increases in poverty amid the pandemic have only compounded the problem, especially for marginalized groups.

U.S. life expectancy drop caused by more than pandemic
What steps do you think could be taken to bring these numbers back in the right direction?
Our society does a really good job developing technical solutions to health problems, such as creating vaccines, developing surgical procedures for heart disease and developing medications for mental health issues. And our cancer death rates are among the best in the world because we’re good at innovating and developing technical solutions. We have to keep developing those technical solutions, but we also need to be much more aggressive in developing social and economic solutions to our health problems as well.

This includes reducing racial, ethnic and income inequalities, curbing racism, making sure every kid gets a decent education and enhancing programs like minimum wage and access to child care. If we do those things, new health problems or pandemics will cause much less destruction compared with the tremendously unequal society we currently live in.

We have to focus on inequality issues that are so harmful for population health. You see it in our life expectancy statistics. We can’t just focus on the technical solutions; we can’t buy ourselves out of the health issues we’re facing. They’re too big and complex and our country is too fractured and too unequal in order to do that.

JFC retard, you already cried abut my other link showing pretty much all countries decreased due to covid because it is 2 years old - which is how old covid is

No they did not decrease anywhere near what ours did. You are fucking lying

derp derp

they went down - were you the moron that said no other country's went down?

no - it was not you - so fucking shut up moron.

Anyone can look at the graph and tell there is something wrong with the USA when compared with other countries. We are the only ones with the antiquated fucked up healthcare system thanks to republicans.

They crammed it down everyone's throat you lying sack of democrat shit. And as everyone said, it does not work, it is too expensive and a waste. Just what welfare collecting democrats like you always vote for. Here is hint sperm burper. Get a job. Pay your own fucking way. Get out of your mothers basement. Fucking useless piece of white, woke shit.

We spend twice what every other country spends on healthcare because we have assholes like you saying it's too expensive to pay less and get better healthcare. I'm not a democrat and republicans suck up more welfare than the democrats. The top 10 states in welfare per capita are all red.

As I said, Child, you really have to up your game. You are terrible at this. Get some help...maybe someone in a grade or two above yours. If you can, one of your teachers.

Do come back, though. I enjoy tearing you a new asshole from time to time. And your reactions to my doing so are just hilarious.

Frank. Your dementia just gets worse every time you post. I bet you have been sitting in the same shit filled depends for days now.

Does the VA deliver "better" health services? Does the USPHS deliver "better" health services? The CDC now regularly lies to us about health issues. Should we want more of that?

As for welfare per capita:

New Mexico - 21,317 per 100k
Louisiana - 17,670 per 100k
West Virginia - 17,419 per 100k
Mississippi - 15,031 per 100k
Oklahoma - 14,317 per 100k
Illinois - 14,257 per 100k
Alabama - 14,097 per 100k
Oregon - 13,828 per 100k
Rhode Island - 13,535 per 100k
Pennsylvania - 13,488 per 100k

https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/welfare-recipients-by-state

New Mexico, a solidly blue state tops the list. Oregon is solidly blue as well, as is Rhode Island and Illinois. Pennsylvania is purple at best. That puts roughly half the top welfare states as being blue.
As for which party "sucks up more welfare," well that's solidly the Democrats too.

You really have to do better. The other kids in the sandbox with you will soon turn against you, because you are giving immaturity a bad name.

Wipe yourself...and get over the snit. Or...just continue until you turn blue.

I love handing you your ass...so just whichever you choose, I am going to enjoy it.

Every vet I know prefers to use the VA over their regular doctors, if they are local enough. They are not under the time constraints of reg doctors and get a better explanation of their conditions. They are not working under profit motive. The VA costs are reduced by making you better. They are not in the business of selling procedures to increase profits either.

Wrong, Nordy.

I am a vet and I prefer private medical care to the VA.

A good friend, an O-4, had a hernia operation, a simple procedure, at the VA and he is still having problems.

My veteran friends all warn about VA care. So do I.

I'm a vet and have used the VA for healthcare often over the years. In the late 1990's )when I had very limited other coverage) I was treated for non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. At that time, they discussed the 5 year survival rate with me. That was over 25 years ago!

I now mostly use private doctors...but that is mostly because the VA facility is a very long trip away from me. They do a fine job...and the fact that they are not profit motivated is HUGE.
