Watergate style hearings, coming soon to a television near you.

Jarod,

Watergate style hearings, coming soon to a television near you.

Trumps getting what you asked for, he’s going to regret it.

Well they were complaining about closed door hearings....................

CSPAN is going to be NUMBER ONE rated for a while.

bullshit on steroids,,Watergate was a fair process from beginning to end,, This is a Star Chamber.
and the Thurs vote isn't even a vote on impeachment,, It;s a pig circus

This has been done by the Republican established rules from the start. The rabid rightys have no basis to bitch. If they had a vote every day you would still weep and cry. the Dems have followed the Republican established rules from day one.

Time will tell. Impeachment does not have to be based on a crime, read the Federalist papers.

The phrase high crimes and misdemeanors comes from English parliamentary documents, referring to non codified abuse of power or malfecence.

Same premise and you misfits have squat.

Yeah I heard that. Sounds to me like a president can be convicted by the senate for jaywalking. Not likely though.

Technically every president could be impeached then.
Now can you tell us a little more about that French war in the '50's against fascism? I missed that in history class.

So, then what does this mean?

U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland told House committees last week that the way in which President Donald Drumpf and his allies pressured Ukraine to open political investigations in exchange for a White House meeting amounted to a quid pro quo. Sondland’s lawyer told the Wall Street Journal that the top diplomat specifically said that Ukraine agreeing to open up an investigation into 2016 election interference and a probe into a gas company where former vice president Joe Biden’s son once served on the board was a condition for a White House meeting between Drumpf and his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky. A lawmaker asked Sondland specifically whether that amounted to a quid pro quo. The diplomat specified that he wasn’t a lawyer but he believed the answer to that question was yes.

Pencil Neck told Taylor not to answer Rep's questions. Yup, it's still a witch hunt.
Now they're throwing Taylor aside and throwing in with Vindman where the left goes
into their old worn out boring mode of collective SHOCK! CONCERN! HYSTERIA! over
the nothingness of the burger before them.

So...Sondland's lawyer just told the WSJ that Sondland told Congress what Trump wanted to do amounted to a quid pro quo.

Good luck selling that to the American people.

Look I agree that impeachment is a political act.

But you better have more than this lame phone call to sell to the American people. Unless of course it is your aim to have your party get wiped out in 2020

Why do you post like that? Trump is terrified and crying on Twitter every day. If there was nothing to fear he would simply go on to doing presidential things, like golf'. I am sure you know damn well this is a big ass deal and so does Trump.
Every day, it seems, another person ties the noose tighter around Trump's pudgy neck.

This isn't Watergate you whiny twat.

Yes, you're going to be very disappointed when the lie filled narrative Adam Shifty Schiff promoted is exposed for what it is.

Hell, Pelosi can't even say she is going to have a vote for impeachment. You will NEVER get 20 Republican votes in the Senate either. ;)

So the American public and the 20 Republican votes needed in the senate can just be Democrats crying "BUT Trump!!"???? Good luck with that.

Spellcheck is your friend. ;)

Hello anonymoose,

I'm looking forward to seeing what the crime was.

I doubt it.

After none is found I'm looking more forward to a senate trial so repubs can call their own witnesses. Will be like a Perry Mason boomerang .

A self-contradiction. How could you be looking forward to seeing what the crime is when you're so sure there wasn't one?

And seriously, if you really wanted to know what the crime is just read Taylor's opening statement. I am not running into many Trump fans who have actually had the nerve to read it. They all seem to be doing everything possible to avoid that.

I wonder why?

Is it because they don't want to learn what they don't want to know?

Bob Marley could have made a song of it:

They don't want to learn what they don't want to know
because what they won't read is the quid pro quo.
