Are the Democrats being irresponsible for not keeping the government open ?

All they need to do to open the government is for five of them to vote for the clean CR like they did 13 times during the Biden administration.

Of course they have. The House passed the bill on September 19.

Democrats in the Senate shut the government down. Until the government reopens, there's no reason for the House to reconvene.

@Phantasmal is an imbecile. She probably doesn't know that Congress includes the Senate. Hopefully an illegal will kill her soon.
