Was it ok to kill him?

Got it. But he's legally allowed to carry a gun any time he wants. So, why shouldn't he have had it?
Why did he need it...With extra ammo... if he didn't carry it regularly... Just a Few weeks earlier , his parents had had a conversation with him about attending these protests... They were concerned... Something was not right.... That was posted somewhere on the forum as well.If you need me to find it... If He was just out in about in the neighborhood to help out.If there was a problem He didn't need to be armed... I'm not excusing anyone involved in this tragedy , but not having the gun would certainly have made a difference... He knew that protests were aggressive in volatile At times..he should have been thinking about that.... And maybe he was...

Rights aren't about explaining to people why you're exercising them. Why shouldn't he have had a gun? Again, he's legally permitted to conceal carry.

It's like telling the person hit by a drunk driver that they shouldn't have been driving. It makes no sense.

I just told you why you shouldn't have had his gun... Just because you're permitted to carry something doesn't mean you should.. If he didn't have the gun , he'd be alive right now.. It makes perfect sense... His parents knew something was wrong and they tried to warn him.... That makes perfect sense too....

You're still blaming the victim. He's not dead because he exercised his Constitutional right. There's absolutely nothing wrong with him carrying a gun just as the ICE agents were. He's dead because 2 ICE agents are morons.

I'm not blaming anyone I said it would have been different if he had not been in possession of the gun... That was his choice.. And as it turned out , not a wise choice ... A choice that his parents begged him not to make...

He'd be alive if he didn't have the gun.... He'd be alive if he wasn't there.... Why did he have the gun that day when he normally didn't carry it? The only person who could have prevented this tragedy was Alex...
What you say is why the 'good guy, with the gun', who is out in public and gets killed trying to help someone, is a myth and should not be allowed.

You are saying why those gun carry laws should be abolished.

Because as you say, 'if that person did not have a gun and was not there' then they would not have died on that day and only they could prevent that.

It would have been different if the ice agents weren't in possession of guns and weren't incompetent.

His choice was fine. He did nothing wrong.

A Heels Up Harris like sentence.

Carrying a permitted gun is legal if you follow the laws.
Because as you say, 'if that person did not have a gun and was not there' then they would not have died on that day and only they could prevent that.
Another Heels Up Harris like sentence.

Don't you wish you weren't so stupid?

He did follow the law and yet magats executed him and as TOP says, if you are a good guy with a gun who responds to any scene to try and help someone and you get killed then there is no one to blame but the good guy with the gun who should not have had the gun and could have went the other way.

ICE telling a man, "if you raise your voice, I will ERASE your voice".

So shocking that giving people like this authority over others and guns and allowing them to wear masks is leading them to become even more tyrannical than a magat is in their natural state.

Turns out he may have saved himself from being murdered if he had come out shooting. He needed to be armed. He was killed because he did not use a gun. ICE will hurt you. That is their job.
You again make no sense at all. Since he did not brandish or use the gun, it is not part of the equation. You are, as normal, grasping for a way to justify ICE's murder of Pretti. Your blind Trumpism makes ypou a joke on this board.

Murder is killing with specific types of criminal intent.

Homicide is causing someone’s death.

So all homicides are not murder, but all murder is homicide.
You called this a murder.

Did he have his ID and carry permit with him?
