Every person who enters the admin or higher office is given a talk explaining how to handle classified documents and what the procedure to get one classified is. Trump was given the same talk and I guarantee they did not say he could abracadabra them into classified or unclassified. There is a procedure to follow and unless it is followed, the entire system breaks down. Trump was not the only one involved with those documents. There are many other people and groups who have to change their handling of the documents if the classifications change. Trump saying he could just magically declassify them all is just stupid and wrong. I cannot imagine anyone thinking that made sense. He stole classified documents. It is just that easy.
