Warning after number of males arriving in Europe is three times that of females

Do you identify as a hyphenated American? Does your city have ethnic clubs like Polish Falcons, a Croatian Club, a Sons of Italy, a Hungarian Club, a Slovene society, an Ancient Order of Hibernians or a Teutonia Mannerchor?

If you accept these groups then it seems petty not to accept the same from ME immigrants. What do you think Muslims are doing different from any other immigrants?

Committing acts of terrorism in the name of their religion. But fortunately they have confined their atrocities to leftie states for the most part.

I disagree and look at culture according to this definition: "The United States of America has its own unique social and cultural characteristics apart from religion. We're not a theocracy and religion doesn't permeate our society. Our society is getting less and less religious but we still have our own culture independent of religion. We're a nation of immigrants and if a particular religion wants to erect a temple, a mosque or a church for worship, so what?

The left is intent on making us less religious and that cat's been out of the bag for some time, but that's another debate. The Christian tradition has infused western culture to a sufficient extent that you can't extract it rhetorically like you attempted to. For example, biblical metaphors that found their way into western literature. The works of Shakespeare were written in Elizabethan English and not a dialect of Pashtun. One would be pretty ignorant of western art if they were unaware of the influence of Christianity on it. Again with our holidays: schools are closed for Christmas and not Ramadan. Stores sell chocolate eggs and Easter bunnies in the Spring. Etc, etc, etc and etc.

And the mother of ironies: your name is Christie, I presume. You ever pause to think about the Christian origin of your own name?

Many people born in this country still identify themselves with hyphens... Italian-American, Irish-American, German-American etc. and nobody gives it a second thought. And Muslims living here, whether born or naturalized, are still part of the culture. I think it's pretty obvious that foreigners assimilate to our culture rather than the other way around. I don't know what you mean by saying "they're striving to turn us into something we aren't." Who is "they" and what are "they" striving for?

Part of the problem in this country is too many people self identify as hyphenated Americans instead of just Americans. But again, that's another debate.

'They' are radical Muslims and 'they' are striving to change us into a theocracy. They attack us because we aren't yet under Islamic rule. Isn't that obvious by now? The only good thing about ISIS is they provide final proof [for those who still needed it] of what radical Islamists want---they want to restore the caliphate, and then expand it. They would make a sex slave out of you and change your Christian name. Italian immigrants would try and sell you pasta, because they share the same values as you.

I.e., they are westerners. So obviously, Europeans will assimilate more readily into our culture than people from non-western cultures. Even us Appalachian-Americans enjoy going into 'little Italy' for some Italian cuisine. But Italian culture was influenced by the Christian traditions and not Islam. So they aren't going to attack us or set up enclaves where women are treated like chattel or police fear going into.

This should all be pretty apparent by now.
