WaPo does more Intelligence damage then Tump does -Brennan

I don't know if it was WaPo indirectly, or more media frenzy,but within a day we knew it was from Israel sources in a "known battlefied"

So I have to go with Brennan on this:

regardless the constant leaking undermines an ability to set foreign policy, which is a POTUS purview.
I've never seen anything like it -it's like a firehose of leaks. and they are reported en masse by the NYTimes and WaPo.
Say what you want to about Brennan. He's former head of CIA, so he's top knotch @ threat assessments

It wasn't WaPo. Their reporting was responsible and - in my opinion - required.

There really isn't much equivalency. I can agree that the leaks are bad, but if there are leaks, it's almost impossible to keep that stuff under wraps in the internet age. The question we should be asking is why there are so many leaks w/ this WH.

But again, it's really 2 separate issues. If reports are true, Trump acted recklessly, imo. We can criticize that and still be concerned about leaks. It doesn't do much to say, well what Trump did is bad, but the leaks are bad too.

Try to imagine the IC leaking like the Titanic the past 8 years. Would a WashPo report on every faux pas [that would otherwise remain unknown] committed by the Obama administration?

I doubt it. Do you really think Flynn is all that exceptional? How many underlings from previous administrations violated the obscure Logan Act---from both parties, but got away with it, because it wasn't leaked.

Trump may have his warts, but his treatment by the IC and the media is unprecedented.

Trump has declared war w/ the IC and the media. You should not be surprised by any of this.

And your speculation is baseless. AS I SAID, WaPo did not release any of the actual information. That was done by other sources, and - again, as I said - that is just going to happen in the internet age. So, yeah - someone out there would have done the same w/ Obama. Absolutely.

Not sure what the internet has to do with it.

Leaks are coming from anonymous sources within the IC---that's a felony btw. Maybe someone can explain to me why congress is dragging their feet on investigating it.

I don't think you understand the problem with that but Dennis Kucinich does. The game has been changed unless we get a handle on it.

It won't always be Donald Trump in the WH.

Trump has been a victim of "advocacy journalism" ( a worthless term) or the IC since the campaign.
I'd be pissed off too.

Regardless LEAKING IS A CRIME and it's damn serious. The press is hopelessly partisan / fake news-
but the leaking is really the top National Security issue.
