What gives WAPO any leverage? The police explained exactly what happened. That did not stop the rightys from fabricating lies. A right wing/Trumpian nut went after Nancy and she was not home, so he hammered her husband. He broke in. He said he was going to kidnap her. He brought the zip-ties.
