Wanna puke? Consider this:

I think too many people on both sides have quit worrying about accuracy and just started making everything a pissing contest.

Political debate is great. But many of the people on this site have quit debating and starting blaming, whether that blame is legitimate or not.

I can definitely agree with that. And it's not just this site either. It seems to be that way with society/political circles/news outlets.

Example: The RNC (strip/bondage club) debacle is a big deal. People need to know about it and how high the stupidness goes. But watching NBC's Morning Joe this morning they were almost giddy that it happened. Flipping back and watching Fox they were almost like they were at a funeral when they talked about it. One put as much negative spin on it (don't need much for that) and the other .... well you can't spin it positively at all but they tried to make it not as bad as it is. The couldn't just tell what happened and what they knew and leave it at that. The opposite is the same when the left gets caught up in something damaging. I guess it is the times we live in....but I don't have to like it.

Yeah, you're right,....I said "Obamaland" to describe the mood of the country, not as in "its Obamas fault personally".....
but still, give me a freakin' break..you wing nuts are still blaming Reagan for things now and hes out of the picture for 25 years.
And blaming Bush for just about everything is par for the course in Obamaland...

Being President when bad shit happens doesn't mean its ALWAYS the Presidents fault....
So...stop blaming Bush for everything that happened while he was President and I'll stop blaming Obama for everything now that hes is President....some things are just not under the control of the President....

Interesting that you have no issues whatsoever w/ the blaming of Obama, which was the OP.

Really interesting.
I think "blaming" is pointless (and I made that clear, interesting that you decide to ignore portions of what I say to pretend that there is some sort of point that I am "missing"), the real question to me is: Does this disgust you? Should the parents of the Marine have to pay Phelps' Legal Bills?

To the first question I answer, "Yes." To the second, "No."

Where do you stand? Currently you stand at picking apart the least important portion of the OP based on the one-word of "Obamaland" without regard to what the story is about.

It's horrid. Phelps is a lunatic, who I do not associate with the right-wing. If they took up action in Congress to amend the Constitution specifically so that Phelps would no longer be able to even speak publicly, I would wholeheartedly support it. There is no way that the family should have to pay his legal bills; there is something wrong with any system that compels them to do so.

That said, the "Obamaland" in the OP was the point of the OP. You know bravo well enough to understand this.

Honestly, I had overlooked it until it was pointed out. Went right to the link.
