The law provides an exemption for people who are authorized to have firearms and keep them stored unloaded in the trunk of their car.

authorized prove he was

if he was going hunting ..95% chance he was in a truck...so no trunk
So you just automatically believed FOX instead of looking at the law yourself and seeing it actually specified a number of exemptions, including keeping an unloaded firearm locked in your trunk.

FOX didn't say he broke the law

I say he did...no proof he has a CCW or was authorized

It's amazing how stupid you are.
No one can be guilty of a crime before the law is passed.
Walz started teaching in Mankato in 1994.
The Minnesota law to prohibit guns on school property was passed in 2003.

Vole just lifts that pointy hood and bleats whatever he reads/hear in the MAGA/Alt-Right media sphere. Critical thinking and personal research are not in his vocabulary (aka: he's a dumbass).

FOX simply doesn't do rudimentary journalistic research and fact checking. They are not real journalists. FOX probably received this story as a tip from some right-wing internet sleuth and just ran with publishing the story without corroborating or fact checking it themselves.

WHY would white Walzed have special authorization to carry a shotgun for pheasant hunting?

Any adult in Minnesota is legally qualified to own a shotgun and keep it unloaded and locked in their trunk, unless they have criminal convictions or other restriction against posessing firearms.

More importantly, this law didn't even exist when Walz was teaching, so FOX failed at rudimentary fact checking again.
