Wallace = tRump

Huh? He never left the party. He always ran as a democrat

Not exactly.

"Wallace ran for President in the 1968 election as the American Independent Party candidate, with Curtis LeMay as his candidate for Vice President."

The American Independent Party (AIP) is a far right political party of the United States that was established in 1967 by Bill Shearer and his wife, Eileen Shearer of California. It is most notable for its nomination of former Governor George Wallace of Alabama, who carried five states in the 1968 presidential election running on a segregationist platform against Richard M. Nixon and Hubert H. Humphrey. The party split in 1976 into the modern American Independent Party and the American Party. From 1992 until 2008 the party was the California affiliate of the national Constitution Party, with its exit from the Constitution Party leading to a leadership dispute during the 2008 election.

One election. He ran as a democrat in '72 and '76. He also won the Alabama governorship as a democrat post '68. That's hardly leaving the party

I guess the liberals must be totally ashamed of their past; but I can see why. :D

Pre 1960's Democrats were not what I would call liberal.

As an American I am ashamed of the pre-1960's Democratic party, much like as an American I am ashamed of the 1973-2015 Republican party.

I think the modern era of the Republican party has just ended, we shall see what develops, hopefully something we wont have to be ashamed of.

YEP, you're ashamed of the liberal's past behavior and rightly so.

George Wallace was a member of the democrat party. You voted for him

George Wallace ran in the 1968 United States presidential election as the candidate of the American Independent Party because Wallace's pro-segregation policies had been rejected by the mainstream of the Democratic Party.

Racist loser ILA forgot that part.

I beg your pardon but,
You are retarded Ma'am.

You should be ashamed of people like chopped liver RacerX StormX and ILA who represent the growing racist wing of the GOP. Your party. Right now!
But instead you embrace them.
That tells a lot about you Ma'am.
Shame on you.

Bucky, you really need to stay on topic; because it makes you look confused. :D

The subject is racism in the GOP, as in Trump is similar to Wallace.
I can understand why you are so reluctant to talk about your racist republican friends here at JPP Ma'am.
They must be a constant source of embarrassment to you.
Or are they?

I know you are desperate for my attention, Bucky; but the comment of mine, that you responded too, had nothing to do with what you're suggesting. :D

The Republicans were once considered the more liberal party.

The party of Lincoln was a liberal party. The party of Trump is not.

You will never address racism here or anywhere else because you are afraid you will be labeled for what you are.
It's not a secret Ma'am.
