The invasion metaphor aside, Democrats are assuming Hispanics will automatically fall in line with them on the immigration issue—simply because they are Hispanic.

Which ironically, is the sort of soft racism the left is famous for. Hispanics are the fastest growing demographic and supposed to show up as the most significant minority at the polls in 2020. Blacks have held that position for generations.

Amusingly, Democrats think their intentions with the border issue is a ‘secret’ lol. They *want* Hispanic/Latino immigrants ‘invading’ the country because Democrats assume they will be future democrat voters. The blithering idiot Beto, was even caught pandering to them south of the border.

One wonders how black voters feel about that.

Dems are gaming the system by their de facto open borders ( including sanc. cities)- pandering to illegals,
and those sympathetic to such.

In Texas that might be enough to swing some districts/counties, and eventually the state.

I care about non-white immigration and I've always said it should be banned. America should only accept white immigrants.

However, we are not being "invaded." We are being solicited for asylum by people. The Mexican government is not sending their soldiers here to take over. When Trump uses words like "invaded" he is saying we're at war and it's ok to violently fight back. That's also the mentality that the shooter had which you can read in his manifesto.

The reason it isn't an invasion is because these are not soldiers coming to destroy us. They are civilians looking to live here.
I agree we need to close the borders to non-white immigrants, but let's not talk about these people like they're our enemies. Most of them simply want to live in a better country.
