Wake up, Democrats: Hillary loses to every Republican

I realized that the day had almost passed without my posting at least one "down on Hillary" thread.

Latest Zogby shows a complete reversal from earlier polls. She tops out at 40%, and loses to pretty much everyone in a general:

Meanwhile, Obama & Edwards beat pretty much every GOP candidate.

No fan of Hillary, but I need more than a Zogby poll to believe this. How many other polls say every republican beats Hillary .. which is hard as hell to believe.
 
a lot of con men are intimidated by Hillary and many dems too.
They were whinning log before the polls.
 
Hillary doesn't intimidate me. She bums me out.

If she gets the nomination, she'll effectively be the worst Democrat candidate for President in my lifetime.

BAC - plenty of other polls bear out these results. She has a "cap"; over 50% of voters consistenly say they will not vote for her under any circumstances, and she drives up GOP turnout in a way that will seriously hurt Democrat chances further down the ticket.

Its an internets poll, which by definition, makes it a non-representative sample.

A traditional gallup poll released at the same time as the zogby poll shows hillary beating the republicans.

That said, I do think hillary is the weakest candidate, in terms of a general election.
 
Really? I think she's the strongest candidate. Obama is liable to screw up, unless he can remain just as scripted. A liberal in modern America can do no wrong.

Edwards may very well be the strongest candidate, as he has the most southern appeal. But that matters for naught if it means he loses 49-51 in the southern states instead of hillary losing 90-10. Under our system, those numbers mean nothing.

the only thing I'll say for hillary, is that she knows how to fight dirty. And fighting dirty may be the only way to keep another election from being stolen.
 
Its not so much hillary in paticular, I think a woman Pres would be less likely to go to war or be bothered with a macho pissing contest. We've had enough of that. I def want a dem. And thin obama is unelectable and edwarars is as phones as a three dollar bill. I'll support the dems nominee whomever.
 
Zogby went from serious pollster to pushing an agenda with published numbers. I seriously distrust Zogby.
 
Biden is the best of The Democrats. Unfortunately, he is the best as far as experience, intelligence, and integrity are concerned...and integrity doesn't win elections.

How young are you? You weren't alive for Carter? Or Mondale? Or Dukakis? or GORE?

ok... last one was a joke.... but seriously, as much as I can't stand Hillary... as polarizing as she is... she is definitely not worse than Mondale or Dukakis and is still slightly better than Carter.

Biden is too conservative for my tastes, but I love how he just puts it out there, and I do think he is very smart. I could live with Joe Biden.
