They rounded up his cattle because he was ILLEGALLY GRAZING THEM on BLM land and refused to remove them.
He and his followers openly boasted of "doing whatever is necessary" to stop the Government from confiscating the cattle.
The Police felt threatened so they responded accordingly.
Again, and because you are so painfully stupid; if they wanted to work it out “peacefully,” why not just issue an arrest warrant and bring him to court for violating a court order?
Sending troops and spending several million in taxpayer dollars to round up cattle seems pretty Fascist and non-“peaceable” to me. The cattle are grazing on worthless land; no hurry to round them up. Take the man to court; have a trial and then charge his estate with fines and the costs of removing the cattle if he refuses to pay and ends up in jail.
This isn't rocket science unless you're a hyper partisan Government butt kissing dumbass trying to defend the indefensible.

He REFUSED to acknowledge anyone with a differing opinion and this is what it got him.
Once again, because you are painfully stupid; issue an arrest warrant and take the man to jail to stand trial.

That wasn’t Bundy’s argument was it? No, it was the fact that he believes in a REPUBLIC of STATES and STATES rights and a Federal Government whose only duties named in the Constitution are the National Defense and administering our laws. I thought you knew that.
All other rights under the Constitution are reserved to….the STATES. Therefore, the whole concept that the Federal Government owns 87% of the land in Nevada raises some serious Constitutional questions don’t you think?
