Wagner Has taken Rostov on Don.

The nation has turned swift and hard against Wagner, I dont think this goes more than a few days, there is almost no one in Russia on Prigozhins side.
I am confused. Isn't Wagner Russia's militia/mercenary army? Why are they taking control of a Russian city?
The Russia military shelled Wagner soldiers killing hundreds.
Rostov-on-Don is the military headquarters for the war against Ukraine.

I remember when wars used to be simple
The story being told is Prigozhin claims to believe the Russian ministry of defense has betrayed Russia's armed forces (bad leadership, lying about the war, treating Russiana like cannon fodder, not executing the war properly) and it looks like Prigozhin has delusions of being the leader of a nationalist political movement.
Wars are never simple, what a ridiculous statement.
They have turned on the Russian military.

Wagner has now rolled through the city of Rostov-on-Don and the city of Voronezh on the path toward Moscow, with limited resistance. They've taken the various government buildings in the cities, as well as their military facilities.
These aren't small towns. The former is the 10th most populated city in Russia, and the latter is the 14th. This would be like Blackwater (now known as Academi after rebranding after their, erm, war crimes in Iraq). rolling in with full military equipment including tanks, through Austin Texas and Columbus Ohio and taking over all federal and local government buildings there in those cities as well as Camp Mabry and Wright-Patterson whilst doing so, and only fighting off a helicopter or two.

I am no fan of Prigozhins, but he has the balls to say you and Putin were lying about the justifications given for invading Ukraine.

That's the spark that lit the fuse, but Prigozhin's feud with the Ministry of Defense and Shoigu in particular has been toxic and growing for months

Yes, I follow the war daily.
I keep wondering when and if any of those ethnic Russian republics will revolt. The time is ripe.
