Voters Trust Trump slightly more then media

It's telling you the media cannot be trusted. all those negative articles stacked up like bowling pins
can be knocked down. Take a look at Wapo or NYTims online -there isn't even a casual desire to show objectivity

Not all of them. But more then not they are so heavily biased against Trump as to be little more then 'newz'.

You are a fool.

Wouldn't you say that there is a fuckload of negative things for the media to cover about Douchebag Donald? I mean, it's possible for the leftist media to be the same animal it has always been, and for Douchebag Donald to be the same pathologically lying, narcissistic scumbag that he has always been, right?

Great thread.

Very insightful and refreshing.

Thanks.

I wonder how America would rate "Progressives" or "Conservatives" in a public, 10k sample, favorable/unfavorable poll?

I wonder how many Americans would self-identify, if anonymous, as "Progressive" vs. "Conservative" vs. "Other"?

It's possible but hardly a logical necessity.

The media has been caught lying in trying to make Trump a liar: for example, Trump's claim about the 3 million illegal votes is an unverified claim. In fact, it's a lie [or at least very shoddy journalism] to call it a lie. But they did, and they repeated *the lie* for weeks.

For practically the whole day this past week CNN was claiming Trump's people 'were in constant contact with the Russians' without the first shred of evidence and despite the fact the affected parties vehemently claimed otherwise.

And that's not even counting Piss Gate.

It's total bullshit. I'm glad Trump calls them on it.

So the media should just stop being objective as they claim to be? Granted, Trump is being absolutely stupid with his war against much of the media, but they are being as childish and dishonest by their clearly biased reporting.
What is biased about their reporting?

I used to think CNN was the least bias, but ever since last summer and especially since he has won, they have clearly thrown objectivity out the window and are basically an opinion piece when it comes to anything Trump. I don't expect Trump to ever take the high road, I thought he would as president, but that is clearly not the case. CNN is not doing itself any favors by be clearly biased against him, they are in fact proving his point more and more each day.
What or how are they biased, please give an example

I like the fact Trump is taking them on. Though I'll grant it could turn out to be a mistake. Time will tell.

And it's a good point about Trump's numbers being depressed by the media---whoever brought it up lol. Imagine what his numbers would be if the media were as supine as they were with Obama.

He may not have a choice but to go after them.

Douchebag Donald needs actual evidence before stating it as fact. within the context that he is making the statement (as President), it is clearly a lie.

For example, I don't believe at all in the existence of Bigfoot. But, there are lot's of people who either believe outright, or agree that there is enough unverified evidence that it's all possible. If I, personally, were to state that Bigfoot is real, it would be a lie, because I don't believe in it, at all.

It's an unverified claim or all unverified claims are lies.

as the Chinese used to say under Mao 走狗 in this case about the press-
"They are running dogs" of the Democratic party.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Running_dog
Historian Yuan-tsung Chen notes that while "In the West, a dog is a man's best friend; but in China, dogs are abject creatures. In Chinese, no idiomatic expression was more demeaning than the term 'running dogs.'"

the phrase running dog has been in use in since the Qing Dynasty, and was often used in the 20th century by communists to refer to client states of the United States and other capitalist powers.
