Voters deserve second chance if mail ballots are rejected, Pa. Supreme Court rules

The US Constitution is clear. State legislatures set the rules, not the courts.
Clear but incomplete. States have election statutes enacted by their legislatures that provide election procedures; statues interpreted by state courts.

Well, DUH. It's that way in Michigan, too. Our mail-in ballots are numbered. If you've made an error, they will notify you to give you the chance to perfect it.

If you're going to take the time to do a mail in ballot , wouldn't you take the time to see that it was done properly?

Because some states create roadblocks aimed at getting trump elected. When I vote, I always get a good chuckle over how much my signature has changed since I first registered to vote decades ago. Any MAGA criminal who infiltrates an election board can simply say that the signatures don't match. That should not disqualify someone from voting.

Sorry. By everyone I meant everyone with a serious mind.
I'm quite serious...why would I be worried? You did say everyone...
Are you concerned? If so, about what? Everyone should take their vote seriously...if you chose to vote by mail, why would you be careless?

You think it's fair to disqualify a vote because someone forgot to put a date on the return envelope? Even if the postmark proves the ballot was mailed in time?
