Voters approve gerrymandering the f*ck out of California in favor of Democrats

.....at a cost to their taxpaywers of $250 million. Money well spent in the brainless Democrats world.

Yet, it won't change very much in a state that votes 40% Republican but only have 8 representatives. Red states will follow suit and we will see a much-needed net increase in Republican seats. This will make you cry and make me laugh.

You will 16 seats down by the time it is all over.

Nobody has redistricted between censuses before Trump. It was not done. However, Trump has no right and wrong compass. He does what he wants and defies you to stop him. He calls that winning.
He sees the midterms as close, so of course, he went straight to cheating. The Dems usually stay within the confines of law and propriety. Like Michelle said"when they go low, we go high". That is not how elections are fought since Trump. He will cheat and laugh in your face.
The only states that have tried to put redistricting on fair and level ground are blue states. We had a ballot referendum in Michigan forcing them to be done more fairly. The Repubs fought against the referendum, and after it was passed, they fought the fairer redistricting.

Redistricting between censuses certainly has happened before Trump, so that's a strange claim.

And it's not just blue states that have passed redistricting reform.

Michigan voted for Trump twice. That still makes it a blue state?

Just like Musk did trying to get a fasc... er, Republikkkan supreme court justice elected to the Wisconsin high court. He failed miserably.

Maybe these fucking oligarchs are beginning to realize that we can't all be bought.
Independent redistricting was passed by the voters.

I don’t think trying to prevent it from being overturned has anything to do with trying to buy people off.

We will see, your prediction is marked
He's just bringing Fox talking points here. There were a number of Red states that were going to join this game, but we'll see exactly how it plays out. Kansas decided to change course and not redistrict for a 1 seat gain. The Rep. that they were going to screw threatened to run for Senate if they dared to oust her.

Between California and now Jersey, there could easily be a 10 seat swing. NY is going to join the game too, but we just corrected illegal districts that lost the state a handful of seats in '20.

For those who follow California ballot measure history, Tom Steyer spent the most with $35 million in 2013 attempting to pass his clean energy initiative.

Tom Steyer also spent $12 million in support of Prop 50 and George Soros gave $10 million in support.

Elections raise a lot of money, no question.

It's OK when Democrats benefit from billionaire donations, right?
