Voter punches poll worker when reminded Texas law requires removal of MAGA hat at election site

When kids weer t-shirts With inappropriate messages on them to school they have the option to change or turn them inside out...they do not have the option to go home...;)
When I went to HS not wearing socks was the fad. One day the principle caught me with no socks. He asked me why I wasn't wearing socks. I told him my brother was wearing our only pair that day. He wasn't pleased. In retrospect I don't blame him.

I’m 63. I have voted in countless elections. I’m not foolish enough to think violence did not occur at voting sites when I was a kid. That said, the fact that this happened doesn’t surprise any of us…this ass punched a poll worker at an early voting site in Texas today after he was asked to remove his red MAGA cap. Punched the elderly poll worker 6 times in the face. That complete idiot thought it was ok to assault someone because he was told to take his effin Trump hat off…Free and fair election? Uh huh.

BCSO: Voter punches poll worker when reminded Texas law requires removal of MAGA hat at election site

The man, who had cast his ballot before the incident, was later arrested. Sheriff Salazar implored the public to “tone down” the anger.

SAN ANTONIO — A 63-year-old Bexar County man was arrested after allegedly punching an election clerk when he was asked to take off his hat supporting presidential candidate Donald Trump, breaking polling site rules.
Jesse Lutzenberger faces charges of injury to an elderly person for assaulting the 69-year-old poll worker Thursday evening at the Johnston Library voting site.

Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar called it an “ugly incident,” saying there was no place for violence in elections.
“There was nothing life-threatening, but it was still an ugly incident where I can’t think of something like this happening in my time as sheriff,” Salazar said.
Officials said Lutzenberger arrived around 6:30 p.m. to vote and put on his hat supporting a candidate. Documents specified it was a red “Make American Great Again” cap, referencing Trump’s campaign slogan.
It’s against Texas election rules, however, to wear badges or attire referencing candidates or measures on the ballot while in a polling place. Salazar said a poll worker at Johnston Library reminded Lutzenberger about the rules, and he removed it before casting his ballot.
Upon leaving, however, Lutzenberger allegedly put the hat back on while still in the building. An election clerk “told him that was unacceptable,” Salazar said, and began to escort him out. That’s when Lutzenberger allegedly turned physical, throwing his arm and then “several punches” at the clerk before leaving.
One more MAGAt going to prison. I'd take a punch from a MAGAt to send them to prison. :)

Note the comment about "injury to an elderly person". In Texas, it doesn't matter the age of the assaulter, but anyone over 65 who is assaulted becomes a crime all in itself. Lutzenberger will likely do some time.

This is one reason why I keep posting I'm from Texas and 68 years old. LOL

The rules don't apply to MAGA.

Tell us why it is okay for this magat to punch an election worker.

Because when someone speaks against Dear Leader Trump they MUST be punished. There isn't a court in the land who would see differently. Especially after Trump appoints all the judges.

Besides, if Trump wins in November, we've been assured that there will be no need for future elections so there wont' be any more punchable election officials!

ANOTHER problem solved by MAGA!
