Vigilante Gun Nut Too SCARED to Leave House

I believe that this man was wrong to shoot at the shoplifters. Carrying a gun for self defense should only be used if your life or someone else's life is in true danger. Shoplifting, while still wrong, is not a situation in my opinion where you should use your gun and especially don't use it if they are running away from you. It's a hard lesson for him to learn but it's a part of being a responsible gun owner. I know he felt he was doing the right thing but possibly taking someone's life with your own hands because they stole merchandise is something I don't know if he really would want on his conscience. I know I wouldn't. Perhaps this is the Lords way of helping him.

I should clarify what I said. My point was not that I want to take away his rights because I don't, I'm for conceal carry, but my point was that his usage was irresponsible in my opinion and I think he should be happy that he didn't kill the shoplifters over some stolen stuff.

President Obama has NEVER claimed to be too scared to go outside without a firearm strapped to his hip, something the vet has stated quite clearly.

You however, try to make it seem like the PRESIDENT and an average American face identical scenarios/situations when they go out in public.

So you see, it was more evasive bullshit.

Show me PROOF that either the vet or his loved ones were attacked before he opened fire on the fleeing shoplifters and I will answer your question.

Otherwise you're trying to compare apples and oranges.

The vet wanted to play cops and robbers and opened fire on two fleeing suspects the police were already in pursuit of.

The police neither wanted nor needed his "help" and he only endangered other members of the public with his reckless actions.
