Yes, and no. Technically speaking, he is brain dead, but his body is still on life support. They are waiting for his family to all arrive, and then they will take his body off life support tomorrow. He will then be pronounced dead.

Real heroes that you are supporting here. They beat a police officer to death. I doubt the jury will care that there was two days between the beating and the death. You realize this is a potential death penalty case, not just for those that did the beating, but also for all that supported them.

Not a lawyer, but 20 years could go by and if the person died as the result of a beating, it's still murder.

Yup. If the death was caused by the beating, it is murder.

That is the first degree murder of a federal law enforcement agent, which is a potential death penalty. They might be able to plea bargain to life imprisonment without parole.

And not just for those present at the beating, but all who encouraged them. Conspiracy can also be a death penalty case.

Agreed. Add to this that all who conspire to commit a crime that results in a death can be charged with the homicide. This means those taking selfies in the Rotunda when Babbit was shot could be held accountable. Even if they aren't, a lot of those idiots are going to go away for a long, long time.

Yes and you know perfectly well if she'd been black BLM and Antifa would be out in force again and Pelosi would have another photo opportunity to cry crocodile tears! There would also be huge riots in the projects and SloJo would give them anything they want.
