The original post contains much information asking why any veteran would support republicans given their record. .
agreed.....but your failure was in pretending that it was what veterans answered......

As a vet I did answer, and so did many more.
a handful?......I hear Hil-liar-y found forty some former officers to endorse her........out of what, twenty million veterans?......
I still remember talking to my Southern fellow soldiers about a variety of issues and thinking wtf. Race was a big item and let's face it folks racism is still rampant in American thinking.
When I was over in the Delta, half the men in my platoon were southerners. Southerners were the best fighters over there. I was scared to death over there and I stuck to the southerners like glue. I knew the southerners had my back.
Colin Powell on Trump.
"...Colin Powell's account show him calling Donald Trump a quote "national disgrace" and "international pariah."
Powell added in August 2015, according to the Intercept: Trump "appeals to the worst angels of the GOP nature and poor white folks."
Powell suggested in another email that even critical coverage of Trump didn't really work: "To go on and call him an idiot just emboldens him."
"He is at 1% black voters and will drop. He takes us for idiots," Powell writes. "He can never overcome what he tried to do to Obama with his search for the birth certificate hoping to force Obama out of the Presidency."
Blaming the media for the rise of Trump. "It is time to start ignoring him. You guys are playing his game, you are his oxygen," he wrote to CNN's Fareed Zakaria in December. "He outraged us again today with his comments on Paris no-go for police districts. I will watch and pick the timing, not respond to the latest outrage.""

Prior to his attack on McCain
Seriously? This is like asking, what is Aleppo! What attack on McCain?
What attack on McCain?
Seriously? This is like asking, what is Aleppo!
You need to look it up then. Didn't like the fact that McCain was captured, "I like people who weren't captured" insulting every American POW!What attack on McCain? When did Trump attack McCain?
I didn't here him attack McCain.
What attack on McCain? When did Trump attack McCain?
I didn't here him attack McCain.
Would Veterans support a man who steals from a charitable institution? As the truth about Trump comes forward, I think anyone who considered him as a presidential candidate must wonder.
'Trump used $258,000 from his charity to settle legal problems' https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...c88f9c-7d11-11e6-ac8e-cf8e0dd91dc7_story.html
odd that you refuse to believe Hillary has lied despite all the proof yet you are willing to believe accusations about Trump without any investigation whatsoever......
Please source your assumptions. Trump lies within the same sentence as he did recently over the birther issue. If lies were money he'd be as rich as he claims.
"It’s clear enough to those of us who don’t like Trump why we don’t like him. What isn’t clear is why it isn’t clear to those who like him. The Trump supporter is your brother who has just brought home a wildly inappropriate fiancée. Well, inappropriate to you. Trump support, nationwide, stands at around forty per cent. If you had ten siblings and four of them brought home wildly inappropriate fiancées, you might feel inclined to ask yourself what was going on in your family to make your judgment and that of your siblings so divergent." http://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2016/07/11/george-saunders-goes-to-trump-rallies
