We already take voting rights away from prisoners and convicted felons. Why? Because someone in Prison is not a contributing member of society.
 
No workey=no votey. And btw,....in no way am I talking about someone who is just going thru a little rough patch and needs a little temporary help to get back on their feet. Im more talking about the lifers .

Only if they are married, can prove it, and have Husbands actively working. The job of a stay at home housewife is VITAL in a well functioning society. In fact I would say it is one of the most if not the most, important job you can have.

How about when the kids are grown up & they don't go back to work?
 
How about people who are disabled or otherwise incapacitated & cannot work? How about early retirees? How about those who decide to live off the land/off the grid?
