very interesting SEC news realse

Hes a democrat and he worked on this long before the Rs were interested.
Much like Gramm worked on GLB act 1999.

No shit he's a Democrat Desh. Do we to get that obvious now? Everytime we mention Obama, should we say Obama, a Democrat, blah blah blah. George W. Bush, a Republican, blah blah blah.

Help me out here, other than employ a few hundred thousand more junior accountants what did SOX do?
If they had senior accounting managers or MBA's with some power regulating they might have stopped the bank fraud. Instead SOX gets a junior accounting picking his nose asking the fox to sign and make copies of the hen house inventory.

and this is how the facts were treated.

Years of holding back the broker rules so banks could hire and train any smuck they wanted to and have them sell mortgage securities tainted with subprime that likely the brokers didnt even understand.

thanks republicans

Too bad the CLINTON SEC blocked the rules from 1999 until Bush took over in 2001. I wonder why Desh doesn't mention that?

The law was passed on Nov. 12, 1999. From there the SEC had 18 months to promulgate the rules. The SEC proposed its interim final rules on May 11, 2001, just within the deadline. How is that blocking the rules? I don't get it.

I should pull up all those old threads and claim my awesome predictive abilities.

No, you can't.... Desh has proclaimed that the 'right' attacked her and UScit... thus that is what happened. No one on the right ever criticized Bush, no one on the right ever pointed out the stupidity of Clinton's Glass Steagall repeal, no one on the right ever said there was a problem with Fannie and Freddie, no one on the right ever said there was a problem with subprimes... just ask Desh. (note to left... this is sarcasm)

The only person I know that attacked her was Topper, not so "right"...
