Infidels attacking Muslims is the outlier. No, that doesn't make it right and the perp should feel the full weight of the law, but the fact is it just doesn't happen much. White infidels don't have the Middle East on the verge of war nor are they attacking Muslims in any significant numbers. In fact, Muslims have more to fear from their fellow Muslims than they do infidel white men.

At any rate, in that sense, it's not remarkable Trump hasn't commented on it. Trump didn't campaign on preventing and/or defeating outlier-terrorism.

He campaigned on defeating Islamic terrorism.

The response should be the same as it was when Islamists attacked Brits on London Bridge. Condolences and prayers for the victims and condemnation for the attacker. I doubt you were snarking about flowers and songs after the Bridge and Manchester attacks.

You guys always reference the phrase "Allahu Akbar" when Muslims attack but give this guy a pass for yelling "I want to kill all Muslims." White nationalists were overjoyed: "White supremacists celebrated the attack, according to the US extremist monitoring group Site." I doubt you'll criticize those people because your Islamophobia is well-known here.

Mr. Osborne owes his life to an Imam when others present were ready to kill him. That'll give him something to mull over during his years in the slammer.

Well, let's ignore the fact that domestically, there are FAR more terrorist attacks from non-Muslim groups.

This was a tragedy & terrorist attack. Trump should have commented. And your comment should have been more than a very qualified and tepid "it isn't justified" followed by "I wonder if there will be a thread this many pages for the next Islamic terrorism attack lol".

Here's one who killed a 15-year old Muslim girl and the authorities are pretending it was "road rage."

"...Nabra Hassanen, 17, was killed on Sunday after she and a group of friends encountered a driver, Darwin Martinez Torres, 22, about 3:40 a.m., the police said in a statement. The group had been at a late-night event at the All Dulles Area Muslim Society in Sterling, Va., and were headed back to the mosque after a trip to a fast-food restaurant.

The police said the group of as many as 15 teenagers were walking and riding their bikes — some in the street and some on the sidewalk — when Mr. Torres came upon them in his car. An argument erupted between him and one of the teenagers, a boy on a bicycle, and he drove his car onto the curb in a fit of anger, the police said. The statement did not say what the argument was about. The teenagers ran from Mr. Torres, but he soon found them in a parking lot and got out of his car wielding a baseball bat and began to chase them, the police said.

“Torres was able to catch Nabra,” the police said in a statement posted online. “His anger over the encounter led to violence when he hit Nabra with a baseball bat.”

After he attacked Ms. Hassanen, Mr. Torres took her in his car to a nearby location in Loudoun County, the police said. Her body was found about 11 hours later in a nearby man-made pond. Autopsy results showed that she had sustained blunt force trauma to the upper body, the police said, though they did not specify her cause of death."
