Well...I have no problem with us building the wall. I don't think it will help in the two most often mentioned areas (it will not appreciably slow illegal immigration...nor will it appreciably slow drug trafficking)...but it will provide some jobs for a short while.

Trump should be doing his best to get Mexico to agree to pay for it...although it is a gross waste of money that could better be spent on more useful projects.

In any case, "Mexico will pay for it" was his promise...that was the reason people like you cheered his promise so enthusiastically.

That should be his focus.

Don't fucking waste my tax dollars on a border wall. I'll be god damned if I have my hard earned tax dollars wasted on a monument to red neck stupidity. We have statues of Jeff Davis and Robert E. Lee for that.

Trolling? My ass. One just has to study some history to know that walls are just temporary obstacles that don't solve problems. A border wall couldn't help but fail in the long run and in the short run will probably just get a few unfortunates killed. I see no reason to to waste tax dollars that can be more productively used elsewhere than on a monument to stupidity on our border just to assuage lower class cowards.

All one has to know to see that this "Wall" is based almost purely on bigotry is that it's strongest support comes from rural white NORTHERN voters.

I could honestly care less about that. I'll speak the same on any issue that's going to utterly waste taxpayers money. Building a wall along the Mexican border is without a doubt the greatest grandfalloon suggested in my lifetime.
