july 8 2017 A United States Marine Corps veteran who suffers from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder said his employer won't let him come to work with his service dog.

Yauncey Long said Cincinnati Bell, a Midwest telecom company, refused to let him work in the company of his service dog, C4.

Long said he's gotten pushback from the company, including "unsatisfactory" responses from management, after he applied for reasonable accommodations.

I don't like dogs, much, but I'll take the needs of a Marine over the whims of some coward like TDAK. Plus, service dogs are usually well-trained, and wouldn't irritate me much in the workplace.

I wonder whose rights will take precedence.

There's a lot of service dogs in force. I imagine such a case has popped-up somewhere, and was addressed. :dunno:

Classical literature qualified dogs as treacherous, crafty and restless.

dogs have literally evolved to be a companion with human beings. they are one of the few animals that instictively understand what pointing means, and they are also one of the few animals that actually look at the whites of our eyes and track our eye movements to know where we are looking. Think about how amazing that is. It's an animal that can actually read our body language and can be told what direction to go in just by us flicking our eyes back and forth. it's borderline telepathic.

ya. I know.they are valuable like cop dogs, they can be trained for tasks. like service dogs too.

I find them to be dirty and disgusting animals for house pets -i am with the classical Chinese view on this.
If you have enough room for a dog to run, that's a big improvement.
