w/ss my brother and his wife have an income of $5000/mo

i am not counting my contribution to the family's wealth as i am in poor health and will likely not see seventy (2013)

As to the article the average retiree with 175,000 is hardly well off.

thank you for your comment about my health, my brother is in poor health too but getting better

my brother and his wife invested in real estate and have two houses that they rent out in Washington state one of which they own outright and they own their home outright
