I would imagine that the sound would run most marauders off, even if they had bigger guns.

It sounds like a lotta fun to shoot. I love taking our .22s to the range, or just out plinking.

Don't worry about killing anything. Just shoot for the fun. Its easier to hit.

Yeah the noise is something else. Not quite fast enought to be a ripping roar like a real chain gun, but lots faster than a regular submachine gun.

I would not want to put it in production anyway, It needs a good cleaning and lube before each play session to work right. Some fine tuning on the engineering or materials would help. But it is fine for me.

There is a gizmo that fits into the trigger guard of a semi-auto that has an oval firing mechanism and a crank handle. Turn the handle and the oval spins and pushes the trigger faster than you could rapid fire it.

Bound to be awkward to aim, but sounds like fun.

there are electronic ones too, a solenoid taps the trigger. A second trigger is added.

Its funny, we are talking about how to shoot more bullets faster, and at the same time I am shopping for a single shot rifle.

No, I am too lazy and too fond of long shots to go with a smokepole.

I have been deciding between a Ruger #1 and a TC Encore for a while. The Encore is more practical and probably a tad more accurate. It also allows me to add additional barrels in different caliber for minimal money. But I have wanted a Ruger #1 since I can remember. I don't know of a more graceful, beautiful rifle being made today.
