We have that in America too. Doesn't mean Cuba doesn't have a racial problem. It's been around as long as the revolution has. They just try to hide it.
As far as free speech, I heard a wide variety of opinions expressed without reservations. I heard Raul Castro called a Crook. I saw complaints about the food distribution system, I heard a lively debate on their version of C-Span that took place in the Congress. There are likely some limits to free speech that I am not aware of, but I am afraid you are simply buying the American party line.
Its been around much longer than the revolution, and I am sure there are still problems. From what I saw, its nothing compared to ours.
Where I live, the neighborhoods are not mixed. Also they don't have a drug problem to the scale we have and they do not appear to have a homeless problem.

Why don't you move to a more mixed neighborhood?
Its economics here, the minorities have less money, because of how generational money and financial wealth is protected generationally regardless of merit, one can be "born" rich and then is very likely to remain rich. Like the Bush's or the Trump's. I live in an expensive neighborhood and the minorities around here have been poor for generations and thus cannot generally afford to cause the hood to be mixed. Republicans have created a system that keeps those whose parents had nothing from attaining much.
