America deserves safe, state-of-the-art air travel, and President Trump has ordered that I deliver a new, world-class air traffic control system that will be the envy of the world. To do that, I need advice from the brightest minds in America.I’m asking for help from any high-tech American developer or company that is willing to give back to our country.

Tomorrow, members of @elonmusk’s SpaceX team will be visiting the Air Traffic Control System Command Center in VA to get a firsthand look at the current system, learn what air traffic controllers like and dislike about their current tools, and envision how we can make a new, better, modern and safer system.

Because I know the media (and Hillary Clinton) will claim Elon’s team is getting special access, let me make clear that the @FAANews regularly gives tours of the command center to both media and companies.

Later in the week, I will travel to the FAA Academy in Oklahoma to meet with air traffic controller instructors and students to learn more about their education and how we can ensure that only the very best guide our aircrafts.

My door at @USDOT is open to any and all patriotic developers or companies who want to help our country in this incredible, game-changing mission. I hope to hear from any company committed to ushering in America’s golden age of travel!

This will be interesting to see. My son's FIL works for the FAA so I'll have a second row seat.
I watched it for 30 years, up close and personal.

It was the finest, best trained workforce and safest ATC system in the world.

Before I retired, at a meeting with the FAA Southern Regional Director, a woman, one of the ATC’s asked about promotions. She replied, no one will be promoted except women.

I retired.

This isn't about "trimming". It's about new equipment and software.
Both are sorely needed.

“Aircraft communications radio operations worldwide use amplitude modulation, predominantly A3E double sideband with full carrier on VHF, and J3E single sideband with suppressed carrier on HF.”

This needs to change. FM, a much quieter mode, is not used due to the “capture effect.” The ILS’s use MK-20’s and VORTAC’s are third generation. It’s decades old equipment.

The software, my friends tell me, is ancient.

The Regional Office in the Southern Region was grossly overstaffed and they did not control aircraft.

Change is needed and perhaps, the hard earned American taxpayers’ money will go to this and not to trans-freaks in Guatemala.

That is my hope, Earl.

If Brad Scholl's supersonic airliners go into production soon, I expect to see a new golden age of passenger air travel that DEI-crippled companies like Boeing seem incapable of bringing us.

@WinterBorn appears to have mistaken the nature of these innovations.

I forgive him, Earl.

Will you join me?

Since I am in an ebullient mood this morning, I shall.

I was at “roll out” when the first French Concorde landed at ATL.

It was most impressive.

One of my friends was on the flight back to France…or perhaps England. It was a long time ago.

In music, the overture is just the beginning, Earl.

Brad Scholl's Overture is the dawn of a new era of American innovation and leadership in aircraft design that I hope will lead to a beautiful composition that will be music to our ears.

He has made contact with President Trump and has received his blessing!
