It seems there is good reason you are not a judge.

A judge does not have plenary power to simply put someone in jail, there has to be good reason and it is appealable. Judges have been sanctioned for doing it.

dude, you're an idiot.....the prosecuting attorney was the one at fault here......not the judge......its a good thing you don't practice law in Michigan.....the judges here aren't the pussies you seem to have in Florida.....

I was thinking there was too much drama there. The yelling was unprofessional.

My best guess is the judge is scared shitless of being overturned on appeal. Not a lawyer, but the drama in that courtroom isn't pretty. Still, I think Kyle is getting a fair trial and can't see how anyone can legitimately disagree.
 
These prosecutors see these cases with national attention as dollar signs. Write a book, give lectures, or go into private practice an enjoy the free advertisement.

I am very happy not to practice in a place that tolerates tyrants as judges. Michigan is full of fools if they tolerate that shit.
